IMMEDIATE OPENING for a full-time Emergency Room Physician at Ft. Stewart, GA.

Qualifications :
Must be a Doctor of Medicine or Osteopathy( D.O) from an accredited college approved by the Council of Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association or Doctor of Osteopathy from a college accredited by the American Osteopathic Association.
Must have and maintain a current, active, valid unrestricted license in one of the 50 states in the US, the District of Columbia, the commonwealth of Puerto Rico, Guam, or the U.S Virgin Islands.
Must have satisfactorily completed an accredited Emergency Medicine residency training and been awarded a diploma for satisfactory completion of said residency. Shall have completed an Emergency Medicine training program that is accredited in the United States.
Must be board certified in Emergency Medicine
Must have a minimum of one (1) year experience within the last two years as a staff Emergency Medicine Physician
Must possess and maintain BLS, ACLS, PALS, ATLS through an American Heart Association approved training program. Online certification is not acceptable.
Must have and maintain a current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) registration number.

Experience: Providers shall have a minimum of one (1) year of experience, within the past two years, working as a full scope of an Emergency Medicine Physician.

Responsibilities: Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Examines, diagnoses, stabilizes, and treats, patients presenting to the Emergency Department to include urgent and emergent conditions. Respond to codes, perform life saving measures and participate in mass casualty events.
Prepares and reviews case histories and clinical records. Medical records must be completed prior to the completion of the contract provider's shift. This includes both hard copy and electronic medical record documents.
Examines patients and determines requirements for clinical laboratory, radiologic, and other testing.
Interprets test results and evaluates examination findings. Prescribes treatment, including procedures as deemed necessary.
Manages emergency services.
Formulates plans and procedures for emergency services.
Responsible for medical supervision of midlevel providers.
