Aya Healthcare is seeking a residency-trained, Board-Certified (ABEM, ABIM, or ABFM) physician to assist with an ongoing Emergency Medicine coverage need in Manistique, MI. Please review the details below.
- 24 hr shifts
- 15-20 patients per day mainly before midnight, an average of 3 patients after midnight
- EMR Cerner
- Level 4 trauma
- Case/Procedure Experience: ER Experience. 1 ER physician working. 1 Hospitalist in-house or on call for inpatients. No mid-levels in ER. Support staff includes RNs 1-3; LPNs 1-2; Lab 4-5 days and 1 on-call; Imaging 1 day wkd/1 on call. 3 nearby hospitals for transfer and helicopter ambulance available.
- ACLS, PALS, and ATLS are required
- Malpractice insurance will be provided
- Board Certified ABFM, ABIM or ABEM
- If ABIM or ABFM facility is willing to let the provider do a hybrid of Emergency Medicine and Hospitalist
- Travel expenses (airfare, lodging, and car rental) will be reimbursed or covered
- The Pay rate is $180.00 per hour paid weekly VIA direct deposit
