West Central is part of a state-wide innovative program that provides Mobile Crisis Outreach to individuals experiencing a mental health or substance use crisis, 24-hours a day/7 days a week.

Our Mobile Crisis Team is looking to hire passionate and flexible Behavioral Health Master-level Counselors for our shifts: 7AM-3PM, 3PM-11PM, and 11PM-7AM Monday through Friday for our Claremont NH location. We are looking for Clinicians wanting to help those in need during mental health crisis.

The Mobile Crisis Team works closely with other Community Health Centers, area Police Department, and other community-based delivery systems. As a part of this team, you will rapidly evaluate complex behavioral health situations; develop, recommend and support clinically appropriate crisis interventions to be implemented with individual clients, their families, and a wide variety of community helpers, including law enforcement and EMS personnel.

To do this, we need passionate and dedicated.Master-Level Clinicians. We will consider candidates with Master's Degrees in Progress (Counselors) if they have relevant experience in behavioral health, mobile crisis/mental health and are in school for the appropriate degree.

Responsibilities.
- Respond to all applicable New Hampshire Rapid Response Access Point crisis intervention requests via face-to-face or video conference (when applicable).
- Consult, triage, or actively participate in facilitating appropriate Voluntary Inpatient Hospital Admissions, Partial Hospital Program referrals, Conditional Discharge Revocations, and Involuntary Emergency Admissions.
- Provide crisis follow-up and crisis stabilization appointments for individuals as detailed in the State of NH Mobile Crisis contract.

Education:
- Master's degree in human services field or equivalent preferred

Experience:
- 3 to 5 years of clinical experience in a team setting
- Disaster Behavioral Health Response Basic Training (DBHRT)

Skills:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to learn necessary computer skills and technical skills essential to the position
- Ability to be flexible with the demanding nature of crisis intervention.
