About the Job Independently performs the functions of a registered nurse in direct patient care in the Cardiac Electrophysiology setting. Utilizes the nursing process in the delivery of developmentally appropriate care. Also works in collaboration with other health care professionals to provide a comprehensive plan of care to meet the patient/family needs. Shift: M - F 8-hour shift Call required. Highlighted Responsibilities Participates in Electrophysiology ablation procedures and Cardiac device implants Performs cardiac device evaluations in the outpatient, inpatient, ER, CVICU, and OR settings Provides education to patients, families, and hospital personnel/fellows regarding procedures and devices function Collaborates with physicians and vender representatives regarding device troubleshooting and programming Evaluates/processes remote transmissions from implanted cardiac devices Phone triage Maintenance of tracking databases related to the electrophysiology department Critical Care experience preferred Knowledge of EP Medsystem, Ensite Percision, and Cardiac device function a plus Qualifications Experience: 2 years' RN experience in cardiac cath lab or critical care Education: BSN Credentials: TX RN License & BLS A Place Where You Belong We put our people first.
