Position Description Looking for a Electronics Technician Maintenance (Junior) opportunity at a place you can make a difference every day? You will be part of a dynamic, focused team that works closely with the customer and other Serco teams responsible for replacing components, wiring circuits, repairing electronic equipment, and taking test readings using common instruments such as digital multi-meters, signal generators, semiconductor testers, curve tracers, and oscilloscopes. In this role, you will: Apply basic technical knowledge to perform routine tasks following detailed instructions. Perform required periodic equipment maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, installation, and use of test equipment as required. Perform at operational Air Traffic Control (ATC) facilities on ATC systems where extreme awareness is critical and the highest level of safety and caution must be exercised to eliminate risk to aircraft safety. Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will have: An active DoD Secret clearance High School Diploma/GED 2 years of practical experience, to include electronics repair, maintenance, and checkout Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications, or four (4) year electronics apprentice program Formal electronics training, to include Installation Tasks, Soldering, Cable Dressing, Cable Tray, Conduit, and Making/Repairing Connectors Ability to travel as necessary 75%. Additional desired experience and skills: Tower Climbing experience/certification Forklift operator experience/certification This position supports a U.S. Government Contract whose terms require Serco to staff it only with U.S. Citizens Military Veterans encouraged to apply.
