The Building People's Market Offerings and Business Lines include: Real Estate & Workplace Facilities Management & Maintenance Engineering & Construction Management Energy & Environmental Technology Integration Sustainability & Smart Buildings Human Capital Mission Support Job Description The Building People, LLC, has a position open for a full-time Electronics Technician III with an active Top Secret Clearance for a facilities engineering program to support a federal Agency. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to: Contractor performs all the duties of an Electronics Technician II, in addition to the following: Applies advanced technical knowledge to solve unusually complex problems that typically cannot be solved solely by referencing manufacturers' manuals or similar documents. Examples of such problems include determining the location and density of circuitry, evaluating electromagnetic radiation, isolating malfunctions, and incorporating engineering changes. Work typically requires a detailed understanding of the interrelationships of circuits. Exercises independent judgment in performing such tasks as making circuit analyses, calculating wave forms, and tracing relationships in signal flow. Uses complex test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment. Work may be reviewed by supervisor for general compliance with accepted practices. May provide technical guidance to lower-level technicians. Performs all duties of Electronics Technician Level II. Manage, schedule, and integrate with complex security plans. Train junior CSP Electronics Technicians as required. (On the job training will be reported on a Training Roster, as referred under paragraph 3, Contract Deliverables, of this Statement of Work.). Establish quality control standards and evaluate work performance. Skills & Requirements Qualifications and Education Required: Active Top Secret Clearance Meet all the Grade 2 specialized experience requirements. Have at least two (2) years of specialized experience in at least two of the following: o Radio communications systems. o Secure network systems. o Electronic physical security systems. o Intrusion detection systems. o Access control systems. Video security systems; or be a military veteran with training in a military technical and with eight (8) years of technical service experience with specialized experience in one of the above listed systems. Qualifications Our positions may require a background screening and clearance directly from the Government.
