Electronics Technician I with Security Clearance

Security Installation Technician (Electronics Technician I) Kings Bay, GA or Jacksonville, FL MANDEX currently has a need for a Security Installation Technician/Electronics Technician I to join our Integrated Electronic Security Systems (IESS) team based in Kings Bay, Georgia or Jacksonville, FL. RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Install, test, maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and upgrade physical and electronic security systems.
• Required to lift large and heavy objects (up to 75 lbs.), perform physical work such as pulling cables, climbing ladders, and working outdoors for extended periods of time.

• Install panels, bend piping/conduit, perform system wiring of both low and high voltage power, and perform connection of both copper and fiber optics.

• May assist in programming/configuring security software applications. EXPERIENCE:

• Two (2) years of practical experience, to include: IESS installation, electronics repair, maintenance, testing, and turnover.

• Previous experience with electronic and physical security systems preferred.
• Experience with Lenel and/or Bosch security systems is preferred.

• Must have experience in system installations, cable dressing, making/repairing connectors, connecting electrical power including 220 Volt, rigid and EMT conduit installation including conduit bending, and fiber optics cable installation and termination.

• Must be willing and able to travel up to 10%. EDUCATION:

• High School diploma or GED.

• Formal electronics training from: Technical School, or Class A or B military school in electronics or communications, or four (4) year electronics apprentice program.
• Formal electronics training, to include: Installation Tasks, Soldering, Cable Dressing, Cable Tray, Conduit, and Making/Repairing Connectors. SECURITY:
• Must be eligible for, or able to obtain, a Secret clearance.
