Electronics Tech Maintenance II with Security Clearance

ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN MAINTENANCE II The Electronics Technician, Maintenance (ETM) maintains repairs, troubleshoots, modifies and installs various types of electronic equipment and related devices such as electronic transmitting and receiving equipment, personal and main frame computers and terminals, industrial, medical, measuring, and controlling equipment; and industrial robotic devices. The ETM applies technical knowledge of electronics principles in determining equipment malfunctions, and applies skill in restoring equipment operation, evaluates performance and reliability of prototype or production mode, and recommends changes in circuitry or installation specifications to simplify assembly and maintenance. The Electronics Technician, Maintenance II (ETM II) applies basic and some advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems by interpreting manufacturer's manuals. A familiarity with the interrelationships of circuits and judgement in planning work sequence is required. ETM II removes, repairs, installs electronic components such as generators, cables and cable harnesses. May also provide oversight and training to lower level technicians. Candidate must be a U.S. citizen and eligible to work at Fort Irwin, CA. Candidate will also be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. The following certifications and/or experience are considered an advantage Network/Computer operation & maintainer experience
Military or Defense Contractor experience
3 - 5 years of related work experience
