Electronic Support Specialist with Security Clearance

Job Description Spiral Solutions and Technologies, Inc. (Spiral) seeks an Electronic Support Specialist to join our team. Location: Lexington, KY Tentative start July 2024 Requirements . Conduct tests and inspections of products, services, or processes to evaluate quality or performance Watch gauges, dials, or other indicators to make sure a machine is working properly Determine causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determining when and what kind of maintenance is needed Determine the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job Identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions Service, repair, calibrate, regulate, fine-tune, or test machines, devices, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of electrical or electronic principles Observe, receive, and otherwise obtain information from all relevant sources Analyze information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems Use computers and computer systems (including hardware and software) to program, set up functions, enter data, or process information Identify information by categorizing, estimating, recognizing differences or similarities, and detecting changes in circumstances or events Provide information to supervisors, co-workers, and subordinates by telephone, in written form, e-mail, or in person Service, repair, adjust, and test machines, devices, moving parts, and equipment that operate primarily on the basis of electronic principles See details at close range (within a few feet of the observer) Tell when something is wrong or is likely to go wrong. It does not involve solving the problem, only recognizing there is a problem. Must be able to secure a security clearance. Must pass drug and alcohol testing. Must be able to read and write effectively in English. Must maintain a positive work atmosphere by behaving and communicating in a manner to get along with customers, clients, co-workers and management. With the exception of STD/LTD/FMLA & approved paid time off (PTO), attendance is considered essential. Must be able to work within the shift hours of 7:00am and 5:30pm or as directed Physical requirements - prolonged sitting and standing; work does require moderate amounts of walking.
