3. Treat others with respect What does this role look like? Join a fast paced dynamic team engaged in designing the Missile test and checkout equipment for the Next Gen Interceptor (NGI) Program. Key activities you will accomplish in this role: Leads, researches, designs, and develops electrical ground support equipment (EGSE) test equipment / systems for a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including avionics, Telemetry, radio and other communications equipment and systems; circuitry components; and control and test equipment. Candidate will design electronic hardware, including signal conditioning equipment and interface with COTS instrumentation for Hardware In The Loop (HWIL), system production tests, system validation and system level field test. We are looking for you to have:
• Experience developing/designing card/box level STE.

• Experience performing HW/SW integration of card/box level STE.

• Experience with cable and electronic system board design and troubleshooting.

• Experience as a technical lead. Typical mins for this role:

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science or higher from an accredited college in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education.
• Prior experience designing Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) experience through all phases of development including: conception, design, prototype, troubleshooting, fabrication and delivery.
• Significant Automated Test Station and or hardware-in-the-loop (HWIL) system design experience required.
• Active DoD Interim Secret clearance or greater is required to be considered for this position. Thus US Citizenship is required.
Desired Skills:

• Demonstrated Test Conductor and / or Test Director for the missile electrical testing
• Test System and Test Safety Requirements development.

• Telemetry Test Methodology Design, Integration and Test experience

• Designing automated tests and test equipment using LXI instruments, cRIO, PXIe, Oscilloscopes, Serial Communications, SpaceWire Communications, Spectrum Analyzers, Power Meters, Counters, etc.

• LabVIEW Windows, LabVIEW Real-Time and LabVIEW FPGA Development highly desired.

• Installation experience of avionics boxes, instrumentation and the interconnecting cable harnesses required.

• Significant electrical flight system design, integration and test experience required.

• Experience writing developing requirements and creating validation test procedures.

• Experience resolving issues associated with tests and review and analyze test data.

• Design experience for Inertial Measurement Unit (IMU) simulators to emulate the IMU serial stream to act as if the missile were flying.

• EGSE design experience to detect squib pulses and activate power supplies to simulate internal batteries.

• EGSE design experience to emulate In-Flight disconnects to electrically separate the missile stages to act as if the missile were flying.

• Candidate should being considered an EGSE Design and Development Authority.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
