Electro/Mechanical Technician

Schedule:
Day shift. Flexible start time but no later than 6:00am start time.

Candidates must be a U.S. Citizen

Job Description:
The technician will be required to perform the following: Conduct electrostatic discharge (ESD) testing of chairs, workbenches, and ESD wrist straps, conduct air quality tests for airborne particulates using specialized equipment on a moment's notice, test and record the results of air flow in clean hoods, explosive proof hoods, and paint spray booths. Responsible for conducting area safety inspections. Accuracy is paramount. Must be able to lift up to 35lbs. Electro/static discharge measurement and controls are beneficial. Heavy recordkeeping/organizational skills.

Required:
Precise, accurate, and timely record-keeping abilities are a must. Must be able to climb ladders for brief periods potentially multiple times per day. The ideal candidate has some technical background/experience in the production maintenance field

Education:
High school graduate with 2-5 years of related work experience.

Experience:
2-5 years of successful experience in light industrial/office/lab settings and in a non-hazardous environment

Electro/static discharge measurement and controls are beneficial. Attention to detail for accurate recordkeeping

Associate degree a plus.
