• Must have a minimum of five (5) years' experience in electricalA systems, power condition on electronic switching systems, and three (3) years' minimum experience in Facilities Maintenance, DoD facility/electrical experience, preferred. (i.e., HVAC, electrical systems maintenance, environmental, civil engineering, property management and repair).

• Knowledge of USAF facilities regulations and policies and prior military/government experience, desired.

• Experience with office computer use to include MS Office Word, Excel, and Outlook. Relevant Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent. Related technical operations classes, desired. Certifications/Licensing:

• A Master electrical certification in accordance with Federal, State, and local industry codes and regulations is desired.

• Possess a Journeyman electrical certification in accordance with Federal, State, and local industry codes and regulations is required.

• All Electricians shall have or be willing to obtain the following certifications:
- HVAC certification IAW NADCA, NATE, EPA Section 608, State and Local codes and a Refrigerant License or Universal Recovery Certification or be willing to obtain certification within a specified timeframe, such as one (1) year.
- Certified in AMMO 47, AMMO 48, or Defense Ammunition Center (DAC) course number 4E-F38/645-F22 (DL) "Lightning Protection for Air Force Facilities, desired.
- Certification IAW the Uniform Plumbing Code (UPC), desired.
- Backflow Prevention Certification, desired. Required Security Clearance:

• U.S. Citizen and possess appropriate level DoD security clearance. Responsibilities:

• Performs electrical maintenance, and repair for the PARCS facilities. Supports electrical facility work requirements, the Recurring Work Program and Real Property Installed Equipment (RPIE) as required.

• Respond to and mitigate emergency work immediately and repair routine work within 30 calendar days.

• Operate, inspect, test, maintain and repair Real Property (RP) and all RPIE IAW manufacturer's recommendations, applicable industry codes, federal, state, and local regulations.

• Perform organizational and intermediate level maintenance and repair to include support to mission systems as required.

• Performs corrosion control, maintains operation and maintenance records.

• Assists in the planning and ordering materials for electrical jobs.

• Performs recurring preventive maintenance on electrical systems.

• Ensures electrical systems for emergency equipment is properly operating.

• Conduct inventory, validate all generators.

• Inspect, test, operate, maintain, and repair all utilities in the Service Area up to point of demarcation.

• Inspect, test, operate, maintain, and repair streetlights up to point of demarcation.

• Maintain and update manuals for all RP and RPIE.

• May assist with seasonal tasks such as the following: cuts grass, pull weeds, and trims bushes. Perform minor landscaping (maintenance of trees, shrubs, lawns, plants, flower beds, and rock beds) and Service Area cleanup as well as removal of ice and snow from sidewalks, entrance ways, and other public pedestrian areas and prevent the potential for hazardous snow or ice accumulation. Keep roads in a passable condition in all weather conditions and keep fire hydrants accessible.

• Operate, maintain, and repair all HVAC and utilities in the Service Area. Heat and cool mission facilities and areas to sustain mission availability requirements. Heat and cool all non-mission areas.

• Inspect heating systems and UPVs IAW AFI 32-1068 and correct identified deficiencies.

• Performs corrosion control, maintains operation and maintenance records.

• Assists in the planning and ordering materials for HVAC jobs.

• Performs recurring preventive maintenance on HVAC systems.

• Ensures HVAC systems for emergency equipment is properly operating.
