Job Summary Job Summary LIMITED TERM ASSIGNMENT: Candidates hired into this position will be at a limited term, lasting no more than three (3) months. Completion of the assessments will allow candidates to be placed onto an employment list for consideration of a limited term assignment. Candidates will not be placed on an eligibility list. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: A typical qualifying background would include graduation from high school or equivalent supplemented by completion of a recognized apprenticeship program in the electrical trade and three years of journey-level experience in electrical installation, alteration, and repair work. WORKING CONDITIONS: The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following physical demands: significant lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling, significant climbing and balancing, frequent stooping, kneeling, crouching, and/or crawling, significant fine finger dexterity. Generally the job requires 10% sitting,15% walking, and 75% standing. The job is performed under minimal temperature variations and under conditions with exposure to risk of injury and/or illness.
