Responsibilities:

As our Electrician, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

1. Reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and specifications to understand the layout of electrical systems.
2. Installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical control, wiring, and lighting systems.
3. Inspecting electrical components, such as transformers and circuit breakers, for safety and functionality.
4. Identifying electrical problems using a variety of testing devices.
5. Adhering to the National Electrical Code state and local building regulations.
6. Training and mentoring apprentice electricians.
7. Performing effective troubleshooting to identify hazards or malfunctions and repairing or substituting damaged units.
8. Conducting routine maintenance and testing on commercial and residential electrical systems, and making necessary adjustments or repairs.
9. Working with project managers and construction teams to ensure the timely completion of projects.

Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an Electrician in the construction industry.
2. Proven experience in industrial or commercial electrical systems.
3. A journeyman or limited license in the electrical field is preferred.
4. Proficient knowledge of the National Electrical Code and local building codes.
5. Demonstrated ability to use electrical and hand tools, electrical drawings, and blueprints.
6. Thorough knowledge of safety procedures, legal regulations, and guidelines.
7. Excellent problem-solving skills with a strong focus on quality.
8. Exceptional skills in electrical troubleshooting.
9. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
