Job DescriptionElectrical Maintenance Technician OpSource has partnered with a manufacturing company located in Blythewood, SC.
Pay for the position:Shifts for the position:- 12 hour rotating shift.
- 5:15 pm to 5:30 am.
Job requirements for the position may include:- Must have industrial mechanical/electrical machine repair and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge and experience with PLCs
- Basic knowledge of electrical fundamentals.
- Knowledge of industrial electrical standards and local codes.
- Basic knowledge of arc flash standards.
- Installation of electrical circuits for 120vac, 230vac and 480vac.
- Ability to bend and install electrical conduit and wire, install breaker panels and junction boxes, and terminate all wiring.
- Maintain and troubleshoot main switch gear panels.
- Install/maintain all plant lighting.
- Maintain 1 line drawing for main electrical system and trace and mark individual circuits in panels.
Qualifications for the position:- Must have experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a metal working industry.
- Associate degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year College or technical school preferred; and/or three to five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must have industrial mechanical/electrical machine repair and troubleshooting. Knowledge and experience with PLCs preferred.
