Electrician II Union

Electrician - 3rd shift 11pm-7:30am $40.23/hr. Who we are looking for: Atkore, a recent recipient of a Great Place to Work certification, is currently searching for an Electrician to be based out of Wayne, MI. The position available is on 3rd Shift, S-T 11:00PM - 7:30AM. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this person will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing all types of electrical equipment. What you'll do: Install, maintain, modify, and repair all electrical distribution systems and associated electrical equipment Inspect, test, and troubleshoot components of electrical systems, including: transformers, transfer switches, and switch gears Utilize blueprints, wiring diagrams, and manufacturers' installation manuals to complete assigned projects Complete work orders and record material utilized on jobs All work must be compliant with current National Electric Code Ensuring Safety, Delivery, Quality, and Cost metrics are being met Support 5S initiatives in assigned work areas All other duties as assigned What you'll bring: High School Diploma/GED Must hold Journeyman classification One year manufacturing experience preferred Basic math and verbal skills Ability to learn to use and maintain equipment and machinery Ability to follow standard work processes and operate with a continuous improvement mindset Flexibility of shift scheduling, to include overtime and weekends Demonstrates Atkore Core Values - Accountability, Teamwork, Integrity, Respect, and Excellence Must possess a positive attitude, be a team player, and have strong work ethic Who we are: Atkore is a four-time Great Place to Work certified company and a two-time Top Workplaces USA award winner.
