Key Responsibilities
- Checks electrical units for loose connections
- Measures and cuts wires and conduits
- Drills holes for electrical hook-ups
- Assists electrician by providing he/she tools needed on the job
- Helps with the daily power down of project and storage of electrical equipment
- Follows safety protocols
- Installs Solar modules, racking, wiring
Skills, Experience, and Knowledge Required
Education
- High School Degree or GED
Experience
- 1 to 2 years on the job training in a similar role
- Prior electrical experience preferred
Skills & Requirements
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Valid driver's license and insurable driving record
- Successful Pre-Employment Drug and Agility tests
- State-wide travel required
- Ability to decipher between different colors of wiring
- Ability to use basic electrical hand tools (pliers, electrician scissors, wire strippers, etc)
- Ability to use electrical equipment like thermal scanners, circuit tracers and multimeters
- Good listening skills
- Fine motor skills
- Good communication skills
Working Conditions Environment Special Requirements
- Full time onsite
- Ability to work in a safe professional manner adhering to all regulatory requirements including, OSHA, State and Federal regulations.
