Electrical Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Working title: Industrial Maintenance Technician (Mechanical Role)

Shift: Will train M-F 7am-3pm. After training will work 6pm-6am

3 must-haves:
1. Mechanical troubleshooting
2. Reading blueprints and diagram
3. Repair of Industrial Equipment

Job Description:
Looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Technicians. This is an exciting opportunity to be a part of a maintenance team taking care of current assets and involved in acquiring state-of-the-art assets and technology. Our facility is dedicated to Folding Cartons, and we have (among other assets) CI Flexo Printing Presses, Die Cutters, Formers, Gluers, Supporting assets and infrastructure.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Demonstrated abilities to perform mechanical maintenance and repairs of different Mechanical Power Transmission Components (Gear boxes, couplings, belt and chain drives, gears and gearboxes, lubrication etc.

Demonstrated abilities to troubleshoot and repair machine motion controls components (sensors, switches, actuators, motors, conveyor belts. Etc.)

Demonstrated abilities to troubleshoot and successfully resolve issues with Machine and Supporting Systems components.

Successfully conduct PM's on Mechanical Systems (including hydraulic, pneumatic, gearboxes etc.)

Troubleshoots and resolves mechanical problems and makes repairs as needed.

Performs basic welding, brazing, and cutting to fabricate items such as guardrails, brackets, and hangers.

Effectively uses measuring, testing and diagnostics devices and tools for PdM.

Maintains accurate maintenance records in the CMMS, Reads Pneumatics, Hydraulics Prints and Schematics.

Safely and effectively operate Fork, Scissor and Boom lifts.

Demonstrated knowledge of Power Tools as well as Machine Shop Equipment.

Working with and Troubleshooting Robotics is a PLUS

Performs other job duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have Vocational School, associate degree with 2 years' experience in Manufacturing facility or High School Diploma and 3 Years of Proven Experience in the field.

Experience troubleshooting Mechanical Systems and machinery in an industrial environment.

Demonstrated ability to always work Safely (on his own and with others)
