With moderate assistance, the Electrical Installer performs complete assembly and testing of standard products and some special products.
The tasks performed require a working knowledge of
- electrical theory and wiring principles
- how to read electrical and mechanical diagrams
- understanding electrical and mechanical processes
- programming standard controls and recorders
The job requires performing duties as specified by work orders, blueprints, diagrams, and layouts, using a variety of hand and power tools. The final work must be inspected for conformance to specifications and performed with adherence to all safety rules and procedures.
