Management Responsibilities:
Lead the electrical engineering team, prioritizing tasks to ensure timely completion of product development milestones and integration activities.
Maintain accurate development schedules and provide current status reports for all projects.
Oversee departmental manpower planning, including job descriptions, hiring, interviewing, orientation, and performance assessments.
Provide exceptional technical and professional leadership, mentorship, and career coaching.
Coordinate all stages of product development, from planning and execution to sustainment. Engineering Responsibilities:
Design high-power control electronics for advanced multi-rotor drone systems, from concept through to production.
Handle all aspects of PCB design, including schematic capture, layout, manufacturing, and testing.
Oversee electronics documentation and perform failure analysis and mitigation.
Collaborate with technicians to support electronic assembly and testing.
Contribute to the product roadmap, suggesting new features and products.
Liaise with contract manufacturers to ensure timely production of quality electronic subassemblies. Required Skills and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
A minimum of 7 years of industry experience.
Experience in Integrated Product Team (IPT) or in a similar technical leadership role.
Substantial experience in independent PCB design. Desired Skills and Experience:
Master's degree in Electrical Engineering.
Over 10 years of experience in electronics/PCB design.
Knowledge of RF Systems, MIL-STD-461, and noise mitigation.
Proficiency in design tools such as Altium, Mentor Graphics PADS, Xpedition, Autodesk Eagle.
Experience with Computer on Module (CoM) and System on Modules (SoM) integration.
Advanced PCB layout techniques knowledge, including micro vias and controlled impedance.
Experience in electronics packaging and 3D modeling/CAD.
Background in unmanned systems or hobbyist RC. Other Qualifications and Desired Competencies:
