Job Number 663728BR Description:The position involves researching power conversion technologies for both high power (DC-DC, DC-AC converter applications in 5-500kW+ range) and low-voltage DC circuit card supply rails. Note - This position is contingent on contract awards and funding which is anticipated in June 2024.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline with at least 2 years of professional experience. - Lab skills such as prototyping, testing, and debugging electronics hardware. - Ability to obtain a secret security clearance and must be able to obtain a interim secret clearance prior to start.
Desired Skills:
- Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related field. - 5 years of related experience in power electronics or related work experience, and a demonstrated ability to do research on innovative power technologies. - Experience with magnetics design, EMI/EMC design and analysis, power quality, and feedback/control loop analysis are considered a plus. -Schematic reading
-Simulation tools like MATLAB, MULTISIM, PSIM
-Mentor Graphics for PCB designing
-Knowledge of EMI/EMC
-Component level knowledge of MOSFETs, Transistors, Op Amps
-Electronic component package sizes

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
