Nesco Resource is in search of an Electrical Engineer to work one of our clients based in East Hartford, CT.

DESCRIPTION:
Seeking an experienced engineer for development of LCD monitors and their corresponding electrical systems. Will be responsible for the design of hardware, firmware and software to perform a variety of control features within the monitors. Current embedded systems are based on Microchip PIC processors using a variety of interfaces (I2C, SPI, RS-232, Ethernet). The candidate would also be responsible for designing and testing LCD monitors.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of circuit board level design experience.
  • Experience in circuit design and PCB layout; experience with OrCAD or similar circuit design software.
  • Extensive understanding of electronics and debugging procedures.
  • Experience with microprocessor design and corresponding firmware including I2C, SPI, RS-232 and Ethernet.
  • Self-motivated team player with strong organizational and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication (written & oral) skills.
DESIRED BUT NOT REQUIRED:
  • Experience with LED lighting and working on LCD monitors.
  • Experience with Optics.
  • Experience with Linux.

  • Salary range: $80 - 120K depending on experience
