Overview: Are you passionate about creating and communicating designs for our client? Do you thrive on collaborating with our Engineering team to produce design drawings for our innovative attractions? As a Ride & Show Electrical Designer, you will work closely with our Design & Engineering teams, LOB customers, outside vendors, and project management staff to deliver CAD designs, detail drawings, and supporting documentation for capital and sustainment projects.

Responsibilities: You will join a collaborative team environment, partnering closely with Engineering to develop conceptual and production design packages for project requirements. Your responsibilities will include:

Participating in project design reviews.

Determining appropriate documentation formats for releases (e.g., Acceptance Test Procedures ATP , Operational Test Procedures OTP ) using Engineering Communication Forms (ECF) and Engineering Change Orders (ECO).

Performing electrical/electronic and mechanical design and drafting.

Conducting research to identify project requirements and develop design solutions.

Selecting materials, processes, and vendors for design projects.

Ensuring drawings comply with applicable codes, legislation, regulatory requirements, and industry standards, including California Ride Law.

Reviewing design packages with vendors and shops to ensure conformance with design documentation.

Collaborating with Engineers and Document Management staff to ensure proper detailing and submission of as-built drawings and project documentation into the electronic data management system (EDMS).

Sharing expertise on the latest trends, technologies, and best practices in designs, materials, and products.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferred.

Proficiency in CAD design layouts and detail drawings.

Experience in electrical/electronic and mechanical design.

Strong understanding of engineering principles and standards.

Knowledge of applicable codes, legislation, regulatory requirements, and industry standards.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
