Position Overview: We are looking for a skilled Electrical Controls Engineer with extensive experience in Siemens PLCs, troubleshooting, and programming. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical control systems, ensuring the efficient operation of our systems and machinery.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement electrical control systems using Siemens PLCs and other related technologies.

Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis of electrical control system issues, resolving them in a timely manner to minimize downtime.

Develop and maintain PLC programs, HMI interfaces, and other control software to optimize system performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the integration of electrical control systems with mechanical and software components.

Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and technicians.

Conduct tests and validation processes to ensure the reliability and safety of control systems.

Document all engineering designs, modifications, and maintenance activities.

Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve systems and processes.

Participate in on-call rotations for after-hours emergency support as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience).

Minimum of 4 years of experience in electrical controls engineering

Proficiency in Siemens PLC programming (Step 7, TIA Portal, etc.).

Strong troubleshooting skills and experience in identifying and resolving electrical control system issues.

Familiarity with HMI and SCADA systems.

Knowledge of industrial communication protocols (e.g., Profibus, Profinet, Modbus, etc.).

Experience with electrical CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical, EPLAN).
