Position Overview:

The E&I Technician will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and calibrating instrumentation and control systems within our facilities. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of electrical systems as well as specialized knowledge in instrumentation to ensure the safe and efficient operation of our equipment.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of instrumentation and control systems including but not limited to pressure transmitters, flow meters, level sensors, temperature controllers, and analyzers.

Conduct preventive maintenance activities to ensure optimal performance and reliability of instrumentation equipment.

Calibrate instruments according to established procedures and industry standards.

Collaborate with engineering and operations teams to identify and implement improvements to instrumentation systems.

Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and participate in root cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work orders, calibration reports, and equipment history.

Adhere to safety protocols and procedures while working with electrical and instrumentation equipment.

Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and technological advancements in instrumentation and control systems.

Required Knowledge, Experience, Skills:

Industrial maintenance experience in electrical and instrumentation systems (2+ years)

Experience with AC/DC drive systems

Work with high voltage electrical equipment

Ability to troubleshoot, diagnose and determine root cause failure of operational problems

Ability to repair plant machinery and equipment

Ability to read and understand blueprints, sketches, electrical drawings and diagrams, schematics and equipment manuals and be capable of applying knowledge of written information
