Job ID: 109378 The Leonardo DRS Land Systems business is a recognized leader in the design and integration of complex technologies into new and legacy systems and platforms for global military and commercial customers. Job Summary Job Responsibilities Daily activities focused on Environmental Protection and Employee Safety Prepare Safety Data Sheet (SDS), master labels and other documentation as needed Aid management with safety and regulatory audits Coordinate the hazardous waste removal and handling procedures Assist in the administration with customer inquiries on shipping, handling, and disposal of chemicals Assist in generating literature for orders, SDS, etc. Support, communicate, reinforce and defend the mission, values and culture of the organization Support implementation of an effective preventative maintenance program to ensure the stewardship of DRS assets Respond to problems and issues in a tactful and expedient manner Support facilities inspections and reporting requirements Collect data and generates reports and metrics Job Responsibilities Part II Qualifications Bachelor's degree in EHS, science or related field preferred with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with OSHA and annual compliance training strongly preferred Strong communication, organization and negotiation skills are mandatory Must have excellent PC-based computer skills Taking care of our people is a top priority at Leonardo DRS.
