As an EHS Specialist you will work as a part of a team to coordinate, maintain, train and provide oversight of environmental, health and safety (EHS) programs at a plant. Minimum Qualifications: + BS degree in Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering or other science field, or + Associate degree in Environmental, Occupational Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering or other science field with two years of related experience, or + High School diploma or equivalent with four (4) years of related experience + Ability to utilize and train employees on technology, processes and procedures + Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes + Strong written communication skills demonstrating the ability to prepare outlines, reports, letters, and any other supplemental materials in a clear and concise manner + Experience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to modify basic reports, documents and spreadsheets in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and SharePoint + Ability to observe, follow, understand, and evaluate processes demonstrated and other workplace procedures + Ability to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks, projects and priorities Preferred Skills and Qualifications: + Prior experience in handling compliance issues, OSHA/EPA programs, regulatory reviews, permit preparation, reporting and record keeping + Experience in evaluating/interpreting OSHA, EPA and DOT regulations and NFPA, ANSI, ASTM, ASME, BOMA and BOCA standards + Experience with Federal, State and local Worker's Compensation law and prior experience establishing proactive Ergonomics Program + Experience in a manufacturing environment + Paper converting, chemical/plastics processing and packaging industrial experience + Professional Engineer (PE), Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM), Certified Safety Professional (ASP/CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) certification Overview: Dart makes everyday products that give people the freedom to enjoy the food & drinks they love, wherever they are.
