We are looking for an EHS Manager Procurement to join our growing team.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Develop, implement, and uphold food safety programs in line with HACCP guidelines
    Establish and oversee comprehensive EHS initiatives covering environmental compliance, workplace safety, and employee health.
  • Conduct routine safety inspections to pinpoint hazards and uphold safety standards, with a special focus on food safety protocols.
  • Thoroughly investigate workplace incidents, implementing corrective measures to prevent recurrence.
  • Manage the handling and disposal of hazardous materials and waste, ensuring adherence to environmental regulations.
  • Guarantee compliance with local, state, and federal environmental and safety regulations.
  • Craft and implement safety training programs for staff, including hazard communication and proper utilization of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Collaborate cross-departmentally to embed EHS considerations into daily operations.
  • Maintain accurate and current EHS documentation, including permits, training records, and incident reports
    Effectively manage the EHS budget and resources.
  • Monitor and report monthly KPIs
    Implement Corporate initiatives as necessary.
  • Provide training to staff on food safety protocols, environmental awareness, and workplace safety procedures.
  • Address and investigate employee safety concerns or accidents promptly.
  • Coordinate with other departments, such as production and quality assurance, to ensure overall compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Preferably possess a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field like food science, environmental science, or occupational safety.
  • Demonstrated experience of at least 5 years within the food industry.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of environmental and safety regulations
    Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
    Certifications such as Certified Safety Professional (CSP) are advantageous.
  • Thorough understanding of environmental regulations (e.g., EPA) and safety standards (e.g., OSHA)
    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and safety management software.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
