Who are we looking for? Our Environmental / EHS Compliance team is looking for an Engineer or Scientist to join their team in Southeast PA. On this team you will work collaboratively to provide environmental consulting services to various industrial clients across the region. In an ever changing world, it requires creativity and innovation to stay ahead. As part of a truly global team, working on complex and rewarding projects, you'll be at the forefront of driving change. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in: Permit application development (e.g., air emissions, storm water discharges, wastewater discharges, etc.) Environmental plan development and updates, such as Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasure (SPCC) Plans, Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plans (SWPPPs), Emergency Response Plans, and Hazardous Waste Contingency Plans (HWCPs) Environmental compliance reporting, such as air emissions reporting, hazardous waste generator reporting, and Emergency Planning Community Right-to-Know Act (EPCRA) reporting (i.e., Tier II and Form R) Assist with multi-media environmental compliance audits, addressing air, water, and waste regulatory requirements Conduct facility and site visits to gather information for written project work Write technical reports and support development of client proposals Comprehend and interpret regulations and guidelines What you will bring to the team: Bachelor's and/or Master's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar field of study 2-4 years of experience in environmental consulting or EHS role Knowledge of environmental regulations preferred, but not required Ability to perform complex spreadsheet calculations and data manipulation Strong written and technical writing skills Experience evaluating regulatory applicability Experience providing on-site EHS support a plus Experience with on-site stormwater sampling and monitoring is a plus Experience with air monitoring is a plus OSHA 40 Hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus Ability to perform field work and travel overnight If you're interested in this position, please submit an application.
