Our client is a leader in producing an environmentally friendly product that is widely used in the automotive industry, as well as other industries throughout the country. They have expanded in the Midwest and in Canada in recent years. They are currently looking to hire an EH&S Specialist in their Canton facility, and this is open due to internal promotion.
Main duties of the EH&S Specialist include:
Lead all EH&S initiatives throughout the facility
Ensure the facility is adhering to all strict OSHA regulations
Enhance all plant safety goals/measures
Coaching employees in a heavy industrial facility on EH&S policies
Qualifications include:
BS degree ideally- but not required
Must be a hands-on, 'on the shop floor' type of EH&S Specialist
Strong knowledge of OSHA
Experience working in a heavy industrial environment
