Job Brief

The Pool & Hot Tub Alliance (PHTA) is looking for a high-performing Education Senior Associate with interest in the education field, and preferably some experience with an association. The Education Senior Associate is an integral part of the Education and Events team and will be the liaison to attendees and members looking for high quality education and will work with world class faculty and speakers.


The Education Senior Associate will be responsible for the administration of several education programs, working in the learning management system (LMS) and assisting with speaker relations. The ideal candidate will have experience working in professional development education. Previous experience with learning management system is a plus. This position will work with the team to achieve department goals, deliver the highest quality education in the industry and have fun doing it.


This position is in Alexandria, VA with the option of a hybrid work schedule.


Education Senior Associate Responsibilities

  • Education Partner Program administrative support including but not limited to processing applications, uploading rosters into UX and customer service for the candidates.
  • Provide administrative support for education events including forwarding post event data to database manager, registration customer support, Podium chats, evaluation processing, transcript management and updating student records and online education candidate communications.
  • Administrative support for in person exam offerings.
  • Assist in speaker management by communicating upcoming deadlines to speakers, confirming details as necessary and securing PowerPoints/handouts from speakers.
  • Assist Education Manager in managing LMS by managing attendee records, adding courses and troubleshooting as necessary.
  • Provide administrative support for education events team including data entry, shipment management, registration customer support, evaluation processing, transcript management and certificate processing and support.
  • Willingness and ability to manage virtual education during the evenings, as necessary
  • Monitor and moderate education-related online communities.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills
  • Willingness and ability to travel to onsite education events to manage registration and other logistics as necessary.
