Since 2005, our firm has represented many of the school districts and community colleges that have joined the Arizona School Risk Retention Trust's Pre-Paid Legal Services Program.

We are on the lookout for a dynamic, self-motivated, and experienced Education Law Attorney to join our esteemed legal team. Our ideal candidate is a seasoned professional with a strong background in education law, an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, and a passion for justice. This is a permanent position that offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of complex legal matters related to education. You will be joining a team of dedicated professionals committed to making a difference in the education sector.

Responsibilities:
As an Education Law Attorney, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Providing legal advice and representation to clients in matters related to education law, including student rights, special education, school governance, and policy development.

2. Conducting legal research and analysis on complex issues related to education law.

3. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.

4. Representing clients in court proceedings, administrative hearings, and negotiations.

5. Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, providing them with regular updates on their cases and advising them on potential legal risks and strategies.

6. Staying updated on current developments in education law and related areas, and using this knowledge to provide effective legal solutions to clients.

7. Collaborating with other members of the legal team to ensure the delivery of high-quality legal services.

Qualifications:
To qualify for this position, you must have:

1. A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

2. A current license to practice law in the state.

3. A minimum of 3 years of experience as an attorney, with a focus on education law.

4. Excellent legal research and writing skills.

5. Strong negotiation and advocacy skills.

6. The ability to manage multiple cases and projects, meet deadlines, and work under pressure.

7. A high level of professionalism, integrity, and ethical standards.

8. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and court officials.

9. A commitment to continuing legal education and professional development.

10. A passion for education law and a desire to make a positive impact in the education sector.
