RCO Engineering, Inc. has an immediate opening for an EDM Operator in Roseville, MI.
Location: Roseville, MI
The RCO Engineering team is looking for an experienced EDM Operator. The EDM Operator supports the tooling group in a fast-paced manufacturing business. The successful candidate must be a self-starter having a sense of ownership of their projects, and highly organized with a willing to grow within the EDM group.
Core Responsibilities
- Design electrodes using Visi Tooling CAD software
- NC Program electrodes using Visi CAM software
- Cut electrode blanks and mount into Erowa holders
- Machine electrodes using Makino CNC electrode cutting machines
- Knowledge of Erowa electrode feeding robot - preferred
- Load, locate, and burn components using (3) Makino sinker EDM machines
Requirements
- Experience as an EDM Operator.
- Experience in production and/or prototype injection molding.Automotive experience is preferred.
- Strong organizational skills.
