Early Intervention Special Education Teacher

As the Early Childhood Special Education Teacher you will have a direct impact on the lives of the children we support in our programs. Reporting to the Assistant Director of Educational and Clinical Services, you will evaluate, assess and develop educational treatment strategies to be implemented for infants and toddlers in a family focused approach.

$5,000 sign on bonus (Paid over 2 years)

Responsibilities include:
Planning and writing curricula appropriate for infant based on a wide range of information developed from the child's file, observation, previous lesson plans, review of individual educational and therapeutic programs and evaluations, and the individual goals targeted for each child during daily activities.
Participate in IFSP meetings, prepare presentations and information on each child.
Ensure the implementation of the NYS Common Core Standards and Creative Curriculum.
Participating in orientation, training, other employee relations activities as needed.

What We Require:
Master's Degree in Special Education, Early Childhood Development plus 1 year experience.
NYS certification as a Teacher of Special Education
