Requirements / Qualifications Minimum: - AA in the following: Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Human Development, or related field. - Possess 6 units of infant/toddler coursework. (upon employment, must obtain within one year from date of hire). - Possess the appropriate California Teaching Permit or one of the following Child Development Permits: Teacher, Master Teacher, Site Supervisor, or Director Permit. -CPR/FA Certifications Desired: - At least one year of experience working in an Early Head Start Program. - Previous working experience with families in planning family goals and child educational goals. - Bilingual in Spanish; Cantonese; etc. - Experience with effective communication, Required Documents: Copy of Transcript CPR/First Aid Certification Credential Copy Letter(s) of Recommendation Resume About the Employer Our Vision - We are a community committed to educating and empowering our students to think creatively, act responsibly, and communicate effectively in order to be successful members of society and make a positive impact on the lives of others. Job Summary Job Summary Under the supervision of the Supervisor, Child Development Program; provides an educational program for infants, toddlers and pre-school, consistent with the Child Development program's philosophy and goals.
