CAP is seeking a Classroom Aide for the Early Head Start Program. The Classroom Aide assists in providing high quality and comprehensive early child development service inclusive of children with special needs .
The Classroom Aide must meet the following minimum qualifications: Child Development Associates credential (CDA) is preferred; or a high school diploma or GED and enrolled in a program leading to a Child Development Associates credential to be completed within two years; or be enrolled in a program leading to an Associate's degree or Baccalaureate degree in early childhood development. Experience working with pre-school aged children. Reliable transportation and a valid NYS driver's license is required.
This is a full-time, 12-month position. The pay rate is $16.00/hr, 37.5 hrs/wk, 50 wks/yr.
