As a DTRA IT Quality Analyst you will help ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter. Our work depends on DTRA IT Quality Analyst joining our team to this position will provide continuous monitoring and improvement on all new and modified software applications, ensuring applications meet high quality standards and functionality throughout the lifecycle of the application, and able to provide hones and thorough feedback on all issues. Quality Assurance ensures software meets standards/functionality throughout the lifecycle of the software.
How a DTRA IT Quality Analyst will Make an Impact:

• Works directly with various teams within the Development group and the team in Albuquerque.

• Daily interactions using Teams Chat, in-person discussions with QA and Dev teams.

• The QA team is a small but highly effective team. They work directly with the Developers on a day-to-day basis.

• Add relevant responsibilities and describe why work is meaningful: o Develops, documents, and maintains a quality assurance program to support the DSMS projects for DTRA.
o Develop and maintain a product-orientated Quality Control Plan (QCP) containing all deliverables and milestones.
o Participates in software and database design analysis, development, and testing.
o Develops and modifies application test plans and procedures.
o Assists with analysis and documentation of user requirements.
o Presents and demonstrates capabilities of new software releases to the customer.
o Provides end user training and troubleshooting of field related issues.
o Performs testing and analysis of all new applications or changes to existing applications prior to release to end users.
o Performs functional testing of Enterprise system patches and their interaction with the environment and assigned applications.
o Maintains QA records in accordance with CMMI Level III policies and procedures.
o Participates in gathering new or evolving technologies and practices in the field of QA which may be applied to DSMS projects.
o Supervises and assigns tasks to employees assigned to the QA Team.
o Assists customer in the Government Acceptance Testing (GAT) process.
o Performs all other work as assigned.

• Their relevant skills and technology will be used daily to ensure a secure and robust QA environment and application.
What You'll Need to Succeed:
Education:

• Bachelor or Arts or Science Required Experience:

• 5+ years Preferred Technical Skills:

• Understanding of SQL and C programming languages along with script creation and utilization.

• Oracle databases and the incorporation of such into application environments Security Clearance Level:

• Secret to start w/SCI eligibility Required Skills and Abilities:

• Develop and modify test plans.

• Provides user training and troubleshooting of field related issues.

• Perform functional testing of enterprise system patches and their interaction with the environment and assigned applications.
Preferred Skills:

• Understanding of SQL and C programming languages along with script creation and utilization.

• Oracle databases and the incorporation of such into application environments
Location:
• Hybrid but this is mission specific and will be discussed with the Enterprise lead. Citizenship Required:
