Job Overview This position is responsible for greeting, registering, collecting payments from and directing/escorting patients in compliance with applicable State and Federal regulations and hospital policies and procedures. Is an ambassador of Deaconess, cultivating a nurturing atmosphere of courtesy, respect, empathy, dignity and optimism. As a Patient Access Intake Specialist, you will play a critical role in continuing the healing mission of Deaconess. The education/experience, certifications, skills, physical demands, and work environment further define requirements associated with this position. College degree desired. Knowledge of health care revenue cycle preferred. Understanding of insurance is a plus.
