We are seeking a Drug and Alcohol Counselor (Fee for Service) to join our team in the Coal Township, PA 17866 location. Earn $29-$40/hour. Position Details The Drug and Alcohol Counselor provides intake services to determine the appropriate treatment intervention, diagnostic assessments, case histories, and other related correspondence as per Merakey, DPW, and DOH policies and regulations. They develop develop Treatment Plans, ongoing therapy, and supportive counseling services to an assigned caseload. the Drug and Alcohol Counselor conducts and completes client case consults, monitor client progress in treatment, and recommends treatment plan revisions and/or other appropriate disposition. They maintain accurate and professional case records, document each case activity, and maintain confidentiality regarding the client. The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: Master's Degree or higher in clinical psychology, counseling psychology, psychology, addictions studies, social work or related field with specialty or concentration in counseling required, (LPC, LCSW or LMFT) preferred. If experience is not in a drug and alcohol setting, the individuals' written training plan shall specifically address a plan to achieve counseling competency in chemical dependency issues. Additional/specific training and/or education in specific human service/counseling fields related to the field of drug and alcohol only. Valid driver's licensed and vehicle required.
