Driver: Part Time, Monday through Friday, 11AM 4PM Pay: $16 to $21 an hour, based on experience. About the Company WeShip Express is a logistics and distribution company located just off I-75 and US-301 in the new Florida International Tradeport in Palmetto, FL 34221. Our hours of operation are Monday thru Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Facility, equipment, and trucks are all less than three years old. About the Position We Ship Express is seeking a part-time driver to join our team. Work hours are 11 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday. As a driver you will go to our customer locations around the local area and load their packages onto a 26-foot box truck with liftgate, using a hand pallet jack. We expect you to be courteous and professional when interacting with customers. You must have a valid drivers license, a clean driving record, have or be able to obtain a DOT Physical Card (this is not a CDL), and be able to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly. Driver Duties and Responsibilities Load and organize product inventory from the customer into your vehicle and unload products in and out of the truck as needed throughout the day. Follow scheduled route for daily pickup. Keep vehicle organized, clean and tidy. Complete daily before, during, and after truck inspection to ensure it remains in good operational condition. Process orders accurately and efficiently. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Driver Requirements and Qualifications Valid drivers license. A clean driving record with no moving violations in the past three years. Have or be able to obtain a DOT Physical Card (this is not a CDL) Proficient at driving and parking 26-foot box truck with lift gate. Able to lift up to 50 pounds comfortably. Experience using hand pallet jack, and electric pallet jack is a plus. Dependable.
