Job Summary Employee is responsible for coding for Inpatient patient types in accordance with ICD-10-CM/PCS rules and internal HIM policies. Employee will be required to physically report to HIM department for 2-6 months. Timeline for remote reporting is based on the discretion of the Coding Manager/HIM Director based on individual. Work together with CDE Documentation Excellence staff to insure appropriate assignment of APR/MS-DRG. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience Two years experience coding Inpatient patient types required. Licensures, Certifications, and/or Registries RHIT, RHIA, and/or CCS.
