Downstream Process Development Engineer

Job Description

Employee Responsibilities:

Perform lab-scale downstream processing of vaccine products and process intermediates

Perform assays on vaccine products, process intermediates, and related experimental samples using biochemical/analytical tests

Prepare solutions/reagents

Set-up process equipment for lab-scale experiments

Maintain records and experimental results following good manufacturing practices (GMP)

The Ideal Candidate would possess:

Strong computer, scientific, and organizational skill

Excellent communication (oral and written) and attention to detail

Ability to work independently and as part of a team, self-motivation, adaptability, and a positive attitude

Ability to learn new techniques, perform multiple tasks simultaneously, keep accurate records, follow instructions, and comply with company policies

Proven ability to work independently in hands-on laboratory setting
