Domestic Freight - 3PL - Truck - LTL Broker and Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Domestic Freight Broker/3PL/Truck Broker/LTL Broker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics and transportation, with a focus on domestic freight and LTL shipments. You will be responsible for connecting shippers with carriers, negotiating rates, and ensuring the timely and efficient transportation of goods.

Responsibilities:

•   Carrier Relationship Management:

•   Build and maintain strong relationships with carriers and freight providers.

•   Negotiate freight rates and contract terms with carriers to secure cost-effective transportation solutions.

•   Client Engagement:

•   Work closely with shippers and clients to understand their shipping needs and requirements.

•   Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients, ensuring their satisfaction.

•   Load Coordination:

•   Match available carriers with shipments based on capacity, routes, and client requirements.

•   Schedule and coordinate the pickup and delivery of freight.

•   Documentation and Compliance:

•   Ensure all necessary shipping documentation, including bills of lading and shipping invoices, are accurately prepared and filed.

•   Stay up-to-date with industry regulations and compliance standards.

•   Problem Solving:

•   Address and resolve any transportation issues or delays that may arise during shipments.

•   Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting and problem-solving.

•   Market Research:

•   Stay informed about market trends, pricing, and competitive offerings in the transportation industry.

•   Identify opportunities for business growth and development.
Qualifications:

•   Proven experience as a Domestic Freight Broker, 3PL Broker, Truck Broker, or LTL Broker.

•   Strong knowledge of domestic freight and logistics operations.

•   Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

•   Proficiency in using transportation management software (TMS) and industry-specific tools.

•   Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.

•   Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

•   Adept at building and maintaining professional relationships.
Salary Range: $50,000 - $75,000 per year

Education:

•   Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (preferred).
