TO BE ELIGIBLE FOR DOD SKILLBRIDGE JOB OPPORTUNITES YOU MUST BE AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE U.S. MILITARY WITH 180 DAYS OF SERVICE OR FEWER REMAINING PRIOR TO YOUR DATE OF SEPARATION AND HAVE AT LEAST 180 CONTINUOUS DAYS OF ACTIVE SERVICE. Job Description: L3Harris is searching for talented Engineering Test Technicians to join the L3Harris team testing modules and chassis for various miliary programs. The candidate will be responsible for executing CCA functional, thermal/vibration ESS tests and final acceptance tests on hardware. This position is for 2nd shift support. Essential Functions: Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings or schematics to perform work duties
Work under direct supervision using a prescribed set of processes and procedures
Work directly with engineers optimizing test processes and procedures Lean, continuous improvement mindset
Qualifications: Requires developing job knowledge/skills. Requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience or 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
Ability to read and understand electrical drawings and schematics
Possess a positive attitude and the ability to work in a team environment Strong attention to detail
Preferred Additional Skills: Good computer skills (Microsoft Windows and Office) Professional attitude and excellent verbal/written communication skills
Ability to obtain a security clearance
Ability to work occasional weekend, off-shift, and overtime work.
