Position Overview RMGS, Inc. is currently recruiting a DLSS Maintenance Technician in Joint Expeditionary Base, Little Creek, Virginia Beach, Virginia, in support of the Naval Special Warfare Group Eight (NSWG-8). Roles and Responsibilities DLSS Maintenance Technician shall report to the SDVT-1 and SDVT-2 Dive Department Head (DH) and complete tasks such as, preventative and corrective maintenance and assist in inventory.
Conduct preventative and corrective maintenance as mandated by OPNAVINST 4790 (series) and as scheduled in the 3M program for all line items of equipment for certified recompression chambers and building air systems, to include high air compressors, air, mix gas, and oxygen piping, MIL-F-22606/ASME/DOT flasks, cylinders, and test equipment.
Maintain equipment IAW the system drawings and the certification configuration authorized by NAVSEA.
Maintain the PMS SKED maintenance program as work-center supervisor for NAVSEA DLSS Hyperbaric Recompression Chamber System's and Building Air System's.
Provide technical expertise for outside contracted maintenance of the NAVSEA DLSS Hyperbaric Recompression Chamber System's and Building Air System's.
Assist with inventory of repair parts and project needs for procurement. Solicit quotes from vendors and provide Government personnel for procurement.
Assist with inventory of HAZMAT and tools.
Assist with maintaining accurate inventory using DPAS, or equivalent authorized Government property management system and provide accurate issuance documentation and distribution to SDVT-1 Task Units/Platoons. Perform maintenance documentation for PMS SKED computer program.
Assist with the preventative and corrective maintenance of the MK-16 and MK 25 UBA and support equipment.
Assist with inventory and stow of all Submarine SOF Carry-On (COH) equipment separate from non-SOF COH equipment.Required Qualifications and Experience Possess Navy Dive School certification (NEC 5342 or higher dive certification)
Must possess qualifications as Navy 3M Work Center Supervisor, DLSS Re-Entry Control (REC) Supervisor, oxygen clean system worker, and MK-16 & MK 25 UBA maintenance technician.
Possess ability to travel TAD/TDY if required to conduct off site training and maintenance.
