We are a leading global duck supplier for over 90 years, hiring for a District Sales Managers. This position offers an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic, innovative, and growing organization within the farming and poultry industry. As a District Sales Manager you will be responsible for B2B poultry sales in your assigned territory, travel to restaurants and facilities to meet with clients, and assist with strategic sales planning.

This is a remote position with 50% travel required in large territories. There are two openings, one in the Chicago area and one in the Houston or Dallas area.

Job Details

Responsibilities:
1. Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive sales growth in the assigned area.
2. Achieve sales targets and outcomes within the scheduled timeframe.
3. Establish productive and professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
4. Negotiate and close agreements with large customers.
5. Monitor and analyze performance metrics (KPI's) and suggest improvements.
6. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
7. Provide timely and effective solutions aligned with clients' needs.
8. Liaise with the marketing and product development departments to ensure brand consistency.
9. Stay up-to-date with new product launches and ensure sales team members are on board.
10. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the sales department.

Qualifications:
1. Proven work experience of 5+ years as a District Sales Manager, Area Manager, or similar senior sales role.
2. Ability to measure and analyze key performance indicators (ROI and KPIs).
3. Familiarity with CRM software.
4. Understanding of store operations.
5. Strong knowledge of the poultry and/or food sales industry.
6. Ability to lead and motivate a high-performance sales team.
7. Excellent communication skills.
8. Strong organizational skills with a problem-solving attitude.
9. Availability to travel as needed.
10. Degree in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field.
