District Mechanic

The following position will be available immediately. TitleDistrict Mechanic 260 Working Days Salary per Mechanic Salary Schedule Reports To:Director of Operations Qualifications: Knowledge of gasoline and diesel engine repair CDL Class B License with School Bus endorsement needed or ability to obtain the license within 60 days of employment. Must be able to pass a yearly physical test to maintain CDL license. Must pass all Federal and State BCI checks. General Duties: Maintains school buses with major and minor repairs. Perform oil changes, replace of tires, brakes, wheel bearing, transmission, water pumps, alternator, exhaust system etc. General maintenance and repair of tractors, mowers, and district power equipment Order parts and complete requisitions
