Wines Unlimited in New Orleans, LA is looking for a Distribution Manager to join our team. We are located at 4221 Bienville Street in the heart of mid-city New Orleans.
Distribution Manager Job Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or some college preferred
- Experience: One (1) year of related experience required; additional years of experience preferred
- Skills: Typing, date entry, PC/Windows, reading, writing and calculating
- Physical abilities: talking/hearing, standing/walking, lifting up to 50 pounds unassisted, climbing, stooping, kneeling, bending, reaching
Distribution Manager Job Duties:
- Liaison between the distribution center and the wholesale sales representatives
- Transfer product and process wholesale orders for delivery
- Accurately check and invoice wholesale orders
- Maintain and consolidate paperwork for orders
- Assist in loading delivery trucks as needed
- Work with team to maintain warehouse organization
