Director, US Medical - Omnichannel Engagement Lead

About the role:

Join Takeda as a Director, US Medical - Omnichannel Engagement Lead, where you will lead, manage, and evolve a roadmap that includes thoughtful long-term planning and goal setting aligned to US Medical's omnichannel strategy for personalized HCP profile/engagement. You will also establish and oversee related medical suite (business system) capabilities, optimization, and documentation for US Medical. As part of the US Medical Digital Engagement and Insights team, you will advance US Medical's omnichannel approach to scientific exchange content across a diverse array of stakeholders.

How you will contribute:

Understanding and Improving Existing Processes and Systems:

  • Oversee US Medical's personalized HCP suite including CMS, CRM, and CLM (Veeva) optimization and Diamond/Curator profile/insights strategy and develop and maintain US Medical's overall roadmap, both in its current state and as the business environment evolves.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to understand current and potential system capabilities and end-user preferences/requirements related to functionality, content, and insights offered through relevant Takeda platforms, including methods and options for personalization.

  • Oversee analysis to uncover gaps and challenges, and areas of opportunity for a more streamlined approach.

  • Provide analysis and insights on suggested improvements by working with the Head of Digital Engagement and Insights and relevant stakeholders to evolve the related personalized medical suite and improve the scientific exchange umbrella.


Veeva MedComms- and PromoMats-Related Responsibilities:

  • Manage Veeva solutions within US Medical using Veeva MedComms, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems and processes including but not limited to Vault and Scientific Statements.

  • Guide existing systems to meet the specific needs of US Medical, including working with DD&T to configure the CMS, CRM, CLM, and HCP profile systems, and other relevant modules.

  • Manage the development of strategies for utilizing Veeva systems to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of medical initiatives.

  • Ensure optimal, thoughtful integration and documentation into the organization's existing or new processes or capabilities.


HCP Profile- and Insight Capture-Related Responsibilities:

  • Manage Diamond and associated solutions within US Medical, ensuring smooth integration with existing systems and processes; including but not limited to CRM and CLM.

  • Ensure optimal, thoughtful integration and documentation into the organization's existing or new processes or capabilities.

  • Evolve the system to align with the specific needs and workflows of the organization.

  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to facilitate effective communication and coordination throughout the data lifecycle.


Data Analytics and Reporting and Metrics

  • Develop and measure key performance indicators (KPIs) driving data-driven decision-making.

  • Oversee utilization of data analytics tools and platforms to track, analyze, and act upon US personalized HCP engagement data.

  • Leverage data from relevant systems to refine or develop new metrics that lead to actionable insights to improve HCP engagement.

  • Lead pilots/thoughtful experimentation to optimize personalized profiles, data collection, workflows, etc. to determine what works best.


Career Development

  • As a line manager, oversee and evaluate employee contribution, performance, and development.


Internal Representation (As Needed)

  • Coordinate with the Digital Engagement and Insights Head, including attending required meetings, and presenting on the SLT.

  • Present at cross-functional / cross-division meetings.


Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

Required:

  • Bachelor's Degree.

  • 5+ years' experience working in digital marketing operations, content management or customer relationship, or marketing technology-related functions, with 3+ years of healthcare professional, leadership, and/or data-backed insight strategy experience.

  • In-depth understanding and experience in utilizing the data/software development life-cycle management processes.

  • 2+ years' experience working with cloud-computing technologies (e.g., Veeva).

  • Excellent communication (oral, written, and presentation) and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated planning and organization skills, attention to detail, execution, and follow-through.


Preferred:

  • Advanced Degree (e.g., MBA, Marketing, Computer Science).

  • Demonstrated success in a cross-functional environment successfully delivering objectives.

  • Involved in the development, roll-out, or evolution of a data platform for digital marketing.

  • 5+ years of digital leadership role experience.

  • 5+ years of program and/or project management experience.

  • 5+ years' experience in pharmaceutical-industry-focused marketing.

  • Deep knowledge of digital analytics and social listening.

  • Experience with social media platforms and their application.

U.S. Base Salary Range:

$169,400.00 - $266,200.00

The estimated salary range reflects an anticipated range for this position. The actual base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors, including the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.The actual base salary offered will be in accordance with state or local minimum wage requirements for the job location.


U.S. based employees may be eligible for short-term and/or long-termincentives. U.S.based employees may be eligible to participate in medical, dental, vision insurance, a 401(k) plan and company match, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, a tuition reimbursement program, paid volunteer time off, company holidays, and well-being benefits, among others. U.S.based employees are also eligible to receive, per calendar year, up to 80 hours of sick time, and new hires are eligible to accrue up to 120 hours of paid vacation.
