Job Description

Intra-Cellular Therapies is rapidly expanding our commercial team to support FDA approved CAPLYTA and we seek a Director/Sr Director, Business Insights & Analytics to join our team. This position will report directly to the VP Insights, Analytics & Forecasting, and requires an experienced leader who can effectively work with marketing, business development and finance to support strategic and tactical decision making with insightful analysis to maximize the potential of CAPLYTA and future products. As a growing organization, we want a candidate who can effectively provide direction, but also is unafraid to be responsible for execution.


Core Responsibilities

  • Lead patient predictive analytics for our pipeline and commercial portfolio
  • Work closely with marketing and finance to forecast sales, business planning and long-range planning
  • Provide forecast input to finance, marketing, sales operations, manufacturing for sales quota development, incentive compensation plans and product supply plan
  • Determine the quantitative and qualitative research needed to support CAPLYTA
  • Utilize data from multiple primary and secondary sources to bring value and insightful information to the commercial leadership team and senior management in preparation for the launch of lumateperone
  • Develop and deploy innovative market research techniques that support the development of strategic imperatives and will guide decision making
  • Leverage metrics to quantify impact of key strategic imperatives used throughout the commercial team and the entire organization
  • Determine market research gaps and implement a plan to close them

Expanded Responsibilities

  • Create a solid and sustainable relationship with finance, marketing, market access and sales operations organizations; routinely collaborate with these teams
  • Evaluate new & innovative market research techniques and approaches; provide perspective for adoption (where appropriate)

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in relevant field, MBA preferred
  • Degree in finance, economics, market research, business analytics, mathematics, statistics, operations research or other analytical field a plus
  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical commercial experience is required with a minimum of 5 years in pharmaceutical market research
  • Therapeutic area experience within mood disorders is preferred.
  • Experience on multiple dimensions of market research; qualitative, quantitative, ATU studies, secondary research, payer research, etc.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead people, provide guidance and direction and motivate a group to excel
  • Significant experience in vendor selection, contract negotiation, development of vendor strategy to optimize value and spend
  • Resourceful, innovative and creative with a passion for speed, agility and simplification
  • Excellent listening, presentation, writing, editing and communication skills with ability to present to senior management when needed

Director, Business Insights & Analytics - Base salary range $170,000 - $210,000

Sr Director, Business Insights & Analytics - Base salary range $210,000-$300,000
